  1. This diskette contains the latest version of MONOPOLY P.C., my lifelong (or
  2. so it seems) programming project.  To play MONOPOLY P.C., simply type in
  3. MONOPOLY and press the ENTER (or RETURN) key.  MONOPOLY P.C. supports either
  4. the monochrome or color/graphics adaptors and requires a minimum of 128K.
  5. All DOS versions and all IBM PC varieties and complete compatibles are OK.
  6. You can even choose your colors (which works best with a color monitor!).

  8. MONOPOLY P.C. is a compiled BASIC program which pits you against the computer
  9. in a familiar struggle.  Beware!  The computer uses excellent strategy,
  10. is surprisingly hard to beat, and is always willing to play.

  12. If you want to donate, please be sure to include your name, address, andthe
  13. serial number that you see when a game is completed.  I do pay "commissions"
  14. based on those serial numbers, then issue a new serialized copy of the latest
  15. released version.  The commission is based upon the size of the donation.

  17. Money is nice, but appreciation or gratitude, sometimes, is nicer.  If you
  18. don't want to donate but do like the game, just dropping me a note will make
  19. my day and make the MONOPOLY P.C. development effort worthwhile.
